Picture on this sucked big time for me. Played on an Oppo 981 on a Panny 50inch plasma it blew. Before you scream 'its your fkn player and system' the Oppo is usually flawless and 99.9% of releases are pin sharp upscaled. It was pixelated to fuck.

Agreed, this is not good..
whats wrong with the colour too?
Lots & lots of 'orange' faces throughout the movie, lol, unless my TV is on the blink
Worth a watch, but not a keeper - wait if you can for a R2 or R1.

Color is all over saturated and picture looked grainy on LCD.
Agreed about the picture being off.
I watched about 30 to 40 minutes of it last night and the picture is pixelated and flushed out.
I am running it on a Upconverting player also and most DVD releases look amazing. This release on the video side is below average!

M:8 - Saw it in the theatres and enjoyed. Much better the Oceans 12 but as good as 11
I've only flipped thru this on the PC so far, and it looks fine so far... your mileage may vary..
I'm pretty sure that many scenes had that orange tint when I watched this movie in the theatre, I think they just used a warmer color temperature... not a defect really... There are scenes like the exterior views of Vegas where the colour palette is more normal..
As far as the pixelation comment, I gotta watch it on the TV, regardless of the bit rate, it's a 2 hour movie, with lots of movement so that would contribute to that problem.
The menus are only 110mb, (55mb English, 55mb Chinese) so most of the space is dedicated to the movie itself.

I've finished watching this edition on a 43" DLP, it's got lots of grain/pixelation up until about 20 minutes in or so which is more than likely due to the source, and not the re-encode, but it's still pretty good. After that though it's very clean...IMO
Looked good to me
I only watched a few minutes of this on the computer and it all looked and sounded good to me. I do have to agree with the orange tint coloring but it really did not look so bad and could be the way it was filmed. I trust most of the mptdvd stuff they do.
this film was made with warmer colours. i just adjusted my screen to fit my satisfaction.
v-8 (a bit grainy, colours are as they should be!)
a-10 (sounded awesome to me)

wow this movie really surprised me. i had almost no expectations when i watched this, which may have contributed to it's high score, but hey, great film. a good end to a good series..
