I bought a small Vox AD15VT amp to go with it. So, to answer your question, I don't play well, it is indeed to impress him/it/her.

I just plug my guitar in the amp, make sure the volume is off, then I put some music on and pretend I'm playing the guitar parts.

She's then so amazed by my elite shredding skills that she jumps on me and sucks my cock for hours.

I have the same amp as you, the Vox. Very good sound for such a small amp, and you can get a ton of different sounds out of the effects.

I really like your guitar to. Heres a picture of my guitar...(picture from google, but exactly the same as mine.)

Also have an Ibanez acoustic...I just love the sound of Ibanez guitars..

i used to play some crappy electro acoustic a long time ago... doesn't really fit my type of music

my dad has an acoustic folk ibanez as well, it sounds really good and that's what I've mainly learned on...

ah yeah, the vox is impressive and excellent for my practicing in my flat. Got to admit that i was surprised by the volume from only a 15w amp...

My favourite guitar at the moment is my Variax 600 - it emulates guitars by using piezo pickups (one per string) mounted in the bridge instead of the usual magnetic pickups and modifies each string's tone to match the (almost) exact tone of other guitars. I've got an Epiphone Les Paul Standard and a Jap Fender Strat but they don't come close to the quality of tone that this thing emulates in the form of a Gibson Les Paul and a USA Fender Strat. It also emulates loads of other shit (semi-acoustic, banjo, 12-string, sitar, ES-335, Telecaster etc.)... not to mention the fact that, due to the piezo pickups per string, I can actually reprogram the guitar to become drop-D or open-G without re-tuning.. it does it all within the guitar before sending the signal out - awesome!

ps. we should have a VCDQ battle (bass or "proper" guitar ) in the form of a Crossroads duel.

Each member has to record a snippet of guitar playing (maximum of 30 secs?) and another member then has to trump it by playing similar and then playing something a bit more difficult (start easy and slowly work it up to avoid some flash cunt going all Steve Vai on us and ending it in the second post). Repeat until someone proves their guitar-cock is bigger than the rest.

i lose....im more of a drummer who bashes away at the guitar....i treat it like a percussion instrument...ive actually punched the neck off an sg and knocked the pickups in on my les paul...they are currently duct taped into place

good thing im a punk...it makes up for any lack of real talent...
