Voted 9/8/7
Video: 9 - well, it's a DVD Rip, can't get much better.
Audio: 8 - 'cause it's MP3/Stereo. Yes, I know about the rules... but I can't give this a 9 with a good conscience.
Movie: 7 - 1408 really is a good horror movie and clearly above average due to it's unique setting. But it doesn't do anything outstanding to justify a much higher rating, IMO (TBH, a lot of other movies don't, either, I don't get why so many get a 8 or even 9 rating here).
And user Shlomi26 needs a serious kick in the back for voting all 10 on this release.

V7.5 A8 M8
Video 7.5 for a DVDrip. Is does get fuzzy around the edges on large screen, so not as crisp a rip as i have seen from others but could be down to rate.
Audio 8 as previous poster said mp3

Not only is this the director's cut it is also an alternative ending. It's a must watch if you have seen the original release.
