From what I know there are two versions one is the PG-13 and the other was originally intended R-rated, however, that's what they sell as 'unrated' version now because it sounds 'better' (just don't have it rated = unrated). In the commentary track (see subtitles of the commentary track) they talk about this being the r-rated version and tell things that are different in this version compared to the PG-13 version (for instance a neck break sound or some automatic weapons)...

Love the fact that this is the unrated version. this is the way it was supposed to be.

To ZeroMancer, what do you use to convert dvds to NTSC? I can do it, but I can only keep the video with a specfic audio track of my choice, but no menus. I will just wait for NTSC if there is no easy way to convert menus.

No idea why you're all claiming this to be the uncut version, as it's not. I've just got it and it's clearly the cut theatrical version.
