Nice sample, I wonder if people realise that if you play videos on your PC they generally do look crap I've only got a Geforce4TI with TV out but the movies look a hell of a lot beter on a TV in fact they look better than on my CDI or DVD player (which does support SVCD) or my chipped Xbox, I also have a portable VCD player but that's really shit. Get yourself a card with a half decent TV out and I swear you won't be dissapointed.

Umm, its a dark scene in the movie. They don't exactly want you staring at her box the whole time. The significance of the scene is her insecurity of a perfection that really isn't needed, nor desired. If the scene were to be lighter as to be able to see the details of her body the point of the scene would be missed completely.

Plus, they just had sex, how often do people leave the light on.

I'll post on the release a bit later when i have had the chance to watch it properly.

Ok, finally sat down and watched it through.

Video is average, a little pixelated, no noticable glitches.
Audio well can't say much, had my headphones plugged into stereo, but didn't notice too much other than the occasional tic.

Movie, well, it's about the underlying life and insecurities of women at different ages. Not something most would want to watch, but it was ok for a 'chic flick'

The apex sucks shit. Cheaply built, cheaply sold. Get a real dvdplayer, or stick with the tv out. 100%. And don't lecture me, I had one and I played it till the motor died. Less than a year. Don't get me started on warranty. Future Shop should die. I recommend the Pioneer DV434.

all screener kill all ts. Stereo sound is the wave of the future... look into it.

apex's r great, i got a 250$ toshiba and a 50$ apex, and theres no quality diffrence, only diffrence is the apex plays jpg kodak photo cd's, and my toshiba dont.

looks like toshiba ripped me off

looks like you listen like a woman. goto vcdhelp and read everyone else's complaints about the apex.... trust me, it's only a matter of time before you become one of those complaints.
