A graphics card with a DVI port >DVi to hdmi lead

Or a DVI to VGA lead.

just about every vid card on the market today includes a DVI out. if your tv has a DVI input, just connect a DVI cable. now, DVI doesn't include audio (digital VIDEO interface) so you'll also have to run a digital audio cable from your sound card to the input on your receiver. if you don't have surround sound, just turn your PC speakers up real loud.

does your PC have an AGP or PCIx?

One of my HDTVs also has a VGA connector... It could be THAT simple

But yeah, DVI>HDMI is a doddle.
