Low bitrate, see below.

[NUKE] Live.Free.Or.Die.Hard.2007.R1.UNRATED.NTSC.DVDR-XPDVD - bitrate.under.3000kbps_get.EMERALD.proper

Edit:

Here's the proof.jpg from the Sample dir:

Also looks like the XviD will be out soon with that open GordianKnot window lol.

Can anyone confirm that rar .088 (the climax of the movie) skips very badly?

Incidentally this is no different from the earlier PAL release. We don't get to hear McClane beyond "Mother f..." in either as the word is drowned by the gunshot.

If the DVD is interleaved like the nfo sez, then it uses the same parts for rated and non rated. So if you try to run an rar it will skip. Like around the world in 80 days, same thing. The proper sez both movies are different movies all together. We'll have to see... proof.jpg shows divx calc set as avi to show bitrate, gay.

Oh, I see. What a silly idea! Why would anyone want to watch the PG-13 when they already have the Unrated, especially when they could have had an audio commentary or DTS track instead?

Well if the proper is right, shouldnt the video be untouched then? Since it has two complete 2 hour movies on it? And why do both nfos have the same bitrate? Just wondering.

Only parts of the movie are encoded twice. The rest is identical for both versions. Would be interesting to check the continuity flags as a release like this is a potential minefield for discontinuities between chapters.

where's the proper?

6/8/8

This release is fine.

The proper is nuked for invalid.proper. EMERALD used gordian knot to check the bitrate on this release so the jpg they provided proves nothing as they obviously don't know what they're doing when it comes to checking the average bitrate.

Sometimes groups have to bite the bullet when they get beat
