Nuked for beeing out of sync..

Can probably be fixed by the usual ctrl+k/ctrl+l in VLC ???

Good movie so waiting for synch fix repack etc.

Posted by Mailman on 12-17-2007 04:53 AM:

Haven't found the sync issues yet, but if you say it I'll believe it. I know it just seems to be cropped to me. It really looks to be kind of squished, but it could be me. I'll see what happens, but if out of sync, that will suck. I've wanted to watch this for some time and now I still have to wait.

V-9
A-5 with sync issues from what I hear
M-7

just skimmed thru this movie

video looks awesome, there is a small warner brothers water mark thru out the movie, but its so faint that you can barely see it.

movie does got black and white, dont know how many times, i only saw it once during skimming
and it was b/w for about 30 seconds

audio was spot on.
i found it was in sync.

I can't find the issue, I'm not completely done, but where are they bro?

Posted by SultrySalesma on 12-17-2007 06:43 AM:

I scanned through the first CD and looked at the start of the 2nd and I didn't see a sync issue. So if it happens it'll be in the last half of the film.

V: 9 - Clear image. Watermark is barely noticable
A: 9 - As mentioned, I haven't seen any sync issues. And what I hear sounds pretty good to me.
M: 9 - Damn good watching. Decent storry, but the director made use of really long takes. That stuff is hard to come by in action movies now adays - mostly quick cuts.

EDIT: Just got through watching the entire thing through VLC and had no sync issues.

Sync issues or No Sync issues

I have been wanting to see this for a while.

I like to watch everything on a standalone to save running svideo cables and messing around on the pc so can someone confirm the sync issues please and where they occur.

Thanks.

Good SCR. Minor matters logo and 4 to 5 short b/w scenes. Noticed no sync problems. Love these type of movies. This one just OK.

8.5/8.5/6

8/9/7

decent movie, watermark and b/w scenes are my reasons for 8 video. No problems with the audio.

v: 8 (only for barely noticable watermark and a few b/w screens)
a: 9 (I had no sync issues whatsoever)
m: 7

Watched the whole flick, the previous poster had better eye sight then me, I didn't see a watermark ... it does have a few b&w scenes but nothing major, no property off .... rated as follows ... I'm going to give it 8's all around ... a nice realistic movie .. just kidding, but it was entertaining.

The Village Roadshow Pictures logo is CLEARLY visible on the lower right, so I doubt you even got this rls.

v8
a8 (it's in sync)

V/8 B/W scenes and watermark but not annoying
A/8 No problems
M/4 Not very good what happened to Kevin Bacon looks like an AIDS patient

Posted by Cr-critic on 12-18-2007 07:27 AM:

V-9.5 Excellent
A-9 Excellent
M-9 I thought this was a very good flick
Watched on tv not pc

Vast majority of screeners have B/W or Property of, or blurred clocks etc and the odd one has a watermark..... so i did not drop points for the totally expected. its what makes a scr so unique.....if it had none of these characteristics peeps would be saying looks like an R5 or TC or dvdrip. So to drop points for such unique quality's is kinda dumb

Seems to me alot of folks vote every movie as if it was dvdrip then drop points because its a obvious scr or Cam etc....as i see it each movie type is in itself a unique group and judged in that way

I stand corrected I see the little watermark thing in the right hand lower corner, that looks sort of like a V ..... didn't notice it the first time ... guess i wasn't looking for stuff, so had to plug it in again to make sure I had the correct release.

Nice scr, B+W like 5 times for 15-20 secs each. 'V' watermark is almost dead center but down a little bit, but its very transparent so you only notice in certain points.

A: 9
V: 9
M:7.5 Old concept, but done well despite lack of any real cast aside from K.B.
