Doesn't work

Tried it in 2 diff standalones...no workie.
Works in PowerDVD .....

Not sure what they did....but they found a way to screw it up from playing in standalones...

Needs a patch, I imagine.

put movie through dvdshrink and
remove menu and then burn...
works fine....

M-8

Brilliant. Already posted a comment on the divx release. The DVDR actually has a perfect 5.1 track.

V 8 - slight compression artefacts in dark scenes, other than that regular DVD quality, no b/w, no scrolling text, just a small still text message 4 times during the movie
A 9 - retail quality 5.1
M 7

The DVDR first pgc links to an 'empty menu', either fix with pgcedit or select track 1 on your DVD player (for most players just hitting STOP and PLAY again will do this)

Posted by PMAtreides on 12-22-2007 09:40 AM:

yeah...

I ran it through DVD2One, which removes that title track that was forcing it to stop and not load properly.....then reburned it.....all good now

The release group should have tested it before putting it out ---- that's my only complaint. They will probably put out a patch, but I don't need it now....

meh

V-7 (pretty good for DVDSCR
A-9 (clean 5.1)
M-2 (over-hyped, this is just another take on a prexisting pretext. The book was better, hell even the low budget take on this pretext was more interesting.)

Makes me think will smith's upcoming release, Hancock, will be a true disappoint. Damn you eager to jump on the band wagon fans, quit raving about a film that you haven't seen

Is it just me...

Or is this a flagrant RESIDENT EVIL rip off?

K-Virus?? sounds a lot like 'T-Virus' to me!

Movie even has zombie dogs, lol

Entertaining movie, but I just could'nt get the Res-Evil simularities out my mind.

Great early release, cant wait to see on the big IMAX screens..

Master Trojan, More like the Resident Evil scripts were a rip off from the Omega Man, circa 1971.

Theres a FIX thats out there. Just copy the files over it in a TS folder and use anything you want like dvdshrink to recreate the image and then burn it =)

True, very true indeed! Nicely pointed out
I forgot about omega man - must dig it out for a viewing.
Not seen it since the 80's on BETAMAX, lol
Great movie too.
I did think that 'I am legend' was familiar in some way, but never made the connection between the two.
Slapping myself for forgetting it (ouch)

While you're at it, check out the original 1964 movie release, "The Last Man On Earth", starring Vincent Price. Matheson's 1954(?) book, "I Am Legend", is pretty good, too..

Great flick, great quality, IMO.

Worked OK on the standalone w/s & home theatre system. Just had to press play.
Good video and surround sound.
Rip-off? No, it was openly stated to be a remake. Initial premise made more plausible for today's political climate.
as a screener:
9/9/8
