Which Avi to DVD Encoder ???

I hope this isn't as annoying as some of the how to encode questions!?!? But here it is anyway...

What avi to dvd encoder do people use to create dvd's for their standalones?

I have looked at many sites/reviews/videohelp and have tried several myself. I use avi2dvd now which on the whole is great, but occasionall still get this problem. The avi will play fine on my pc, but when I convert it to dvd, the audio is out of sync.

Just interested to see what others use.

Thanks.

you can use WinAvi v8 ,it's good at converting HD files to DVD also.
ConvertXtoDVD seems to be a favorite .

merry Christmas.

Never use a one-click program myself. Heavily tweaked version of TMPGEnc 2.5 Plus + TMPGEnc DVD Author (1.5 or 1.6). Later versions of both have sacrificed encode quality for convenience of use.

Ok, thanks for the replies.

I'll give convertXtodvd a go.

Cheers.
