Judging from sample:

The video looks alright normal washout but the colors actually look good and are intact, dont know about night scenes. There seems to be cropping on the top maybe some on the bottom. The audio seems good too, a little low, maybe muffled but good.

V-7
A-8
M-?

Posted by Mailman on 12-27-2007 03:27 AM:

Audio is direct and clean, it may be a bit flat, but hey it's a quick TS and a nice one at that. Video does flicker, but I can handle this type of flicker. Color is fine and clean, it's a bit washed out, but it's not really dark, so overall I would call this a good TS. Thanks guys, grab the German Chipmonks video and use your audio for it and you'll have a dynamic duo out there.

V-7.5
A-8
M-6.5

M-tomorrow evening maybe.

the jpg on the front page looks like the vid would be HORRIBLE. I wasn't going to bother until I saw Carolinas post. I checked it out, It is a lot better than I expected. Nice call guys.

Honestly I would give it.

Video 6/mainly because it's very washed out, I'm sure I can adjust the pic a bit and make it look a lot better.

Audio 8/ Judging from sample it seems clear enough.

Movie ?/ I will watch this release and let you know. Reviews were horrible though

Not bad for early TS. Watchable video struggled to make out what happens during dark scenes. No problems with audio at all. Suggest waiting for better copy but you will be able to follow with this quality.

As seen on screen via standalone
V-7 very watchable....when scenes are well lit its actually quite decent for a cam...there are some dark scenes but you still get whats going on, just not in fine detail and i doubt any release will show detail in tunnels etc with just a flashlight for light
A-8 very decent aswell
M-8 I enjoyed it but think first release was a better movie....then again thats just my opinion

Posted by RipBlippley on 12-27-2007 02:06 PM:

Not bad. It's watchable.... and isn't that what we want?

v6.5 (erm, could be better.... but still very decent!)
a8
m8 (was fun and enjoyable!!! it's not raiders of the lost ark... but it's still a fun adventure! SEE IT!!!)

First watched the rar and sample. The former (opening credits and dark scene) was poor. Grainy and pixilated. The later was a scene in the light. Quite good for a cam resolution wise. Colors somewhat washed though. Then downloaded movie and skimmed same. Identical results of course. So video I see as a bit better overall then the average. TS sound average at best. Watchable but may wait.

7/6.5/?

This movie was very watchable. The colors were good. It gets dark in the beginning of the movie and at the end but other than that everything was fine. No heads poping up to tell you "Toasty!"

V - 7
A - 7
M - 8 Really enjoyed this one, wouldn't mind going to the movies and watch it. Thats what this is all about right, tasting the cookie before you buy it???

The colors are washed and grainy. The auto-focus on the camera acts up from time to time, but nothing that kills the release.
The audio is lacking a little bass, but is clear and direct.
Overall a watchable copy.

Vid - 7
Audio - 7
Movie - will watch

uhm

video is probably reencoded from silent italian telesync release (exactly some source but released 4 days before and really more better), this is a very bad reencode.

sound is good

video = 4 very bad (re)encode
audio = 8 nice and clear

video 6
audio 8

Read the rules again, dingbat! No talking about the movie in a way that will spoil it like you just did!

Indeed m8, read the rules....and on that note, thanks for the spoiler

Now as for the review.....

Video - I would say average at best, maybe a bit less than average. I personally thought the quality for a TS was less than I have seen on some other recent releases. Very washed out, some pixilation, and looks like they turned up the brightness to compansate for the crappy color, so the whites are quite white and the darks are quite dark.

Audio - Not bad at all for a TS, but definatley could have been much better. Average sound quality, indeed could use some more bass.

Movie - I personally enjoyed it and if they made a 3rd, I would watch it aswell.

V - 6
A - 7
M - 8

v-7.5
a-8
m-7

there is a flicker but its not bad
defiantly a watchable copy
dark scenes are a little dark as mentioned but you can follow along (cranked the brightness in XBMC and the scenes were watchable)
i also noticed a .1 second delay in audio (fixed in XBMC as well)

get this copy if you cant wait

Yeah,

After watching this release I give it a 6/7/7

I did watch this with a flash drive on my dvd player, I have to think the very beginning was out of sync. Ahyone else have this problem?

yeah it wasn't as good as the first movie, but still pretty good. If you enjoyed the first, You'll enjoy this one. it was a fun movie. Ain't that right RipBlippley?

Oh dear I'm sorry, I hope my post doesn't spoil it for every one. Although the post is very vague.

Dark scenes are almost unwatchable on TV and there is a good 15 minutes or more near the end and a couple other slightly extended dark scenes.
Audio I found quite fine, a little low on the base but still quite fine.

If you really can wait to see this, I would recommend it as it was a decent enough movie to want it as best as possible.

V=6
A=7
M=7.5

i watched the first 5 mins and decided the quality was not good enough to really enjoy the film. it is watchable but as a huge fan of the first i want to see a better copy than this.
