All looks good. A Quick skim through and everything appears ok.

Great film, one of my faves this year

Great movie - really enjoyed it.

Ending is missing though?? They are in the middle of speaking and it cuts to half way through the credits! Anyone else get this?

Other than that the release is perfect - even on 92" screen

FBI warnings, rating screens, extra audio all removed properly. When you stick the DVD in, it goes to a language select screen instead of to the English language menu. This, however, is lame because the other menus have been ganked and go straight to the English menu anyway. So why bother having a select screen in the first place?

If you want to fix that and have it go directly to the English menu when you stick the disc in, open it up in PGCEdit. Go to VTSM 1 PGC 1 (root menu) and delete the first two lines (the ones linking to PGC's 9 and 6). Save, and you're all set.

The DVD also defaults to English subs enabled. This is also lame. Unfortunately, it's also hard to fix without also screwing up the sub-select menu. So, here's a nasty, dirty (working) fix:

Set VSTM 1 PGC 5 to Menu Type Angle Menu. Then, go to VMGM PGC2 and change the final (third) command to "(JumpSS) Jump to VTSM 1, Angle menu (TTN 1)". PGC 5 has the commands that make it select english and turn it off. I tried a million other smarter ways to do this and they all broke the sub select menu, which would have been ultra lame. If someone knows a cleaner way to do this, please feel free to let me know.

If none of the above made sense, who cares, you're not the type to care about a few extra button presses on your remote control.

Movie is complete, only issues are that there is a language selection menu, and that the english subs are turned on by default...

great release (and a month before we get the R1!). the movie experience wasn't as involving or emotional as i was expecting it to be, though.

ps. for those who are bothered by the menus; why don't you just re-author it in DVD Shrink as a movie-only? worked fine for me.
