Like many, I've been wanting to see this movie for years. This release is a great DVDSCR, the only complaint I have is it's FS. I really can't think of anything else to be upset about. The color is good and I haven't found any sync issues yet. I'm sure a WS will be out soon, but either way I'm just happy for finally being able to see this. Thanks guys for the release.

I normally wouldn't bother posting in a thread for a release I haven't seen, but for anyone considering watching this, R1 retail is February 5th. A dvdrip can't be more than a week or two away, and this movie really deserves widescreen and 5.1.

One of the best of the year, just after There Will Be Blood and just before No Country for Old Men.

Storytelling at it's best.

Second best movie I have seen all year. No Country winning out so far.
Still waiting on There will be Blood.

How something like Juno or Atonement got an Oscar nod instead of this is beyond me.

I don't often comment anymore on this forum but this movie needs a serious piece of consideration. I really enjoyed the movie and I would recommend this copy to anyone who wants to watch a good movie. The adaptation of this story is....well to say the least really well done

V:9 It's a screener and it has b/w scenes. If it was all in b&w it wouldn't have detracted from the movie. (It's almost all BROWN & WHITE apart from the grass)
A:10 i couldn't fault it...anywhere

quality is good.. has the somewhat standard black ad white scenes throughout the movie. Sound is top notch.

The cinematography is breathtaking and Casey Afflec performance is Oscar worthy. Unfortunately the screen play is absolutely terrible. This is literally a movie about nothing. What little action there is in the movie is hard to fallow. This is one of the most boring movies I've seen in a long time.
