Just wondering why it is called Limited?

:MOD EDIT: ...read the FAQ - it's posted in the rules post at the top of every comments thread. -V

Has about three seconds of blank screen before it hits the studio trailer, then goes straight to main menu. Everything properly removed.

A/10 - best soundtrack of the year
V/8.5 - 2:45 is pushing it for a DVD5, but they did a good job. A little grainy in dark scenes.
M/9.5 - The movie isn't for everyone--if you don't LOVE westerns you probably won't like this. And even for western lovers, don't expect an action movie like 3:10 to Yuma. It's deliberately slow paced. If you like Sergio Leone movies or more experimental westerns like Dead Man, you'll love this.

Good rip

V 9
A 9
M 9 (Don't mind the slow pace, the story is very good)

Limited release means it will be playing in a select few cinemas (possibly not your local cinema), where as a Wide release means it will get shown in alot more cinemas.

A bit slow and a long film but well worth watching.

V - 9
A - 9
M - 9

I read the FAQ. I just thought this film was released widely.

:MOD EDIT: *shrugs* ...ask Emerald. -V

From the imdb:

"USA 21 September 2007 (limited) "

However, it was on Sony Pictures Classic and they have a habit of forcing their smaller movies into one-screen showings at larger theaters. So while you may have had to go drive to some tiny arthouse theater to see No Country or There Will Be Blood, Jesse James was probably playing in your local megaplex (assuming it was playing in your city at all, that is.) They also rolled it out to cities over several months.

So, just because it may have come to a big theater near you, eventually, the original release still qualified as limited, and Emerald tagged it properly.
