Video is a tad dark, but it's easily overlooked. I love Pukka's work and happy they brought this out as soon as it has.

As a long-time fan of the animated A&tC, I can say it didn't sully the Chipmunks name. Just about any kid will enjoy (and quote the heck out of) this movie.

Why hasn't this been nuked for being out of sync?

heroico is right, this has minor sync issues & needs a sync fix , but its good enough for the kids.

Yes its out of sync, and the line audio, while not being bad has got that annoying hiss that sometimes accompany this type of release. So as for the 9's and 10's that the audio is getting, ???? well it baffles me. Dont be fooled by the "20th century fox" opening credit, this has been spliced into the beginning, listen for the audio glitch directly after it.
As for the sync, its not the hardest thing in the world to correct. Took me all of 10 mins, i removed 75ms from the start and it looks pretty good to me.

Anyhow
V=9 (pretty good usual pukka stuff, clear and bright)
A=7 (after sync is fixed. Also not the best line i've heard, but not bad at all. Has a bit of a hiss, though nothing major)
M=6 (one for the kids, they loved it)

Quality: 10
Sound: 10
Movie: 7

Pre-approved for the little ones.. entertaining for us too.

being a bit of a noob I would like to know about fixing the synch issue Ive got video redo and denmat states he "removed 75 ms"does that mean put the slider to minus 75..?
