the pic to me seems very grainy..and colours washed out...makes me wonder if its an encode of the low bitrate dvdr. Tho probably not as the dvdr is the shortened movie version

Hopefully a dvd9 or 3 cd ac3 will crop up for the quality freaks like me

Sorry, but this is not the usual Diamond quality at all. It's similar in quality to the screener, of which ever version including the "full dvd" was blocky, grainy and washed out. This is also very blocky and I wonder what their source was. For a two cd rip this is especially crappy quality.

Won't play in MPC either and AVI Chunk Viewer gives a warning that the files have not been prepared for sequential reading. VLC plays it fine, but it's not worth watching. Whoever ripped it has done a really half-assed one-pass job at best.

For some reason the sound doesn't work when I burn the first CD. Second CD works fine and you can hear the sound on my computer. Any ideas why?

Did anyone manage to run this version of the movie on Xbox XBMC? I used the latest Beta1 version and also the most stable 2.0.1 one and the movie isn't running well. It plays slow as hell and gets stucked. This doesn't happen to me too much, usually with movies that are badly ripped or something. It runs perfectly on my PC and my other Xbox movies run perfectly well too.
