Help me with my Audio please!!
Anyone know why some movies (Rendition, Bee Movie, Into the Wild amongst others) have great picture quality but I can not hear the voices. I can hear the background noise.
I just got a new divx player and that problem occurred with me also, I played with the audio settings on the player and that solved it......just a thought
or look at all the movies audio and see if there is a similarity.
good luck

More info would help, but my guess is:
These are AVI files with AC3 audio. Your AC3 decoder is decoding the full 5.1 channel audio, but you only have two speakers attached. The solution is to set up your AC3 decoder to downmix to stereo.
I have same problem with "The pirates who don't do anything" movie. Audio is good when played on PC. When played in DVD player, only scratchy noises heard. AC3 is stereo.
Sorted it now, changed the audio settings on the old VCL player from stereo to mono as suggested.
Thanks for everyones advice.
