Berlin Film Festival

The Berlin Film Festival starts tomorrow. Looks like some good movies gonna be premiering at it. Is anyone here going to it?

Why was this opened in the pink?

Didn't get in to see There Will be Blood on the Friday night which was supposed to be the highlight, fucking Berliners spoiling it for the rest of us.

Films I did see


Shine a Light - Not my cup of tea, pointless.

Regarde-moi - French film about niggers(Best one I saw, brilliant)

Musta Jaa - Why did I bother

Tribu - Interesting but pretty cheap and nasty

Free Rainer - Germans doing comedy? Actually not bad.


Saw a couple of the shorts, none worth mentioning. Madonnas movie doesn't open til this week, it was one I wanted to see.


Loads of whore houses in Berlin, one either side of my hotel on Kantstrasse and about 20 more on the walk to Potsdamer Platz. Went to the Reichstag and paid my respects to Herr Hitler, took a look at Checkpoint Charlie and got pissed up opposite the Brandenburg gate. Definitely recommending Berlin to anyone looking for a mini Break, amazing city.
