Skimmed through whole release... as already stated heavily cropped but video has slight flicker in bright scenes, dark scenes are not that bad, audio in sync.

gotta watch it now??? then this is watchable.

Based on cam:
8/7.5/? (Only skimmed it, watching tonight at home with mah girl.)

Slightly overcropped but most definately watchable and one of Prevail's better releases. Audio is really good for a cam too.

vid has autofocus, overcropped. overall not bad, next time the cammer can better use no autofocus and use the screen when he is zooming

Just finished watching, cam audio for the first 6 seconds before opening of first scene is switches to direct.

7 - Video is good a little filtered and fuzzy at times. Some night scenes were really dark, others just fine. Good Job overall

8 - Audio is great after that first 6. Heard a little static for a second or two through one scene. Overall nice.

8 -Movie was good! They can make many sequels from this one film. I went into it, thinking it would suck, but very good!

its a ts not a cam

Jumper

Terribly overcropped, sound pretty good being a TS. Video ok for a CAM

Audio: 7
Video: 5
Movie: 7

The strength of this movie is the special effects and unfortunately, the fuzzy overcropped picture dilutes that strength. Still if you can't wait....

Posted by Neomic2005 on 02-17-2008 10:37 PM:

Downloaded the sample...

V: A little fuzzy... As stated previously, they used the auto-focus. Watchable.
A: Good, clear, an in sync.
M: n/a

Personally, I'm gonna wait for the R5 release next month.

A good TS, but I can't add anything about the cropping. As far as an R5, yeah I would wait, but I wonder about this R5. I mean last month everyone was all over There Will be Blood(for some good reasons). I kept reading about the R5 in early Feb and I haven't seen it yet. I hope there will be one soon, but until then, this will have to do.

If by ts you mean Telesync , then correct me if I'm wrong, that still means it's a cam. Just with direct audio

it say so right here

http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=2366

Anyway,

v=6 it's not bad but i'll wait for better
a=8 Pretty good. Just dont expect too much
m=not watched yet

If you can guarantee a r5 by next month then I would wait but.....where do you get that info from? 7.5/8/ not watched......I HATE auto focus.

Video 7

Movie 3 unimaginative bollocks

vid 6
aud 7

as for where to find release dates on dvd's, I am pretty sure there is a well known internet movie database site that has that info.

Posted by xixspiderxix on 02-18-2008 03:33 AM:

Am i the only one who notices that the screen is 1/2 covered by a coat during almost the whole damn film?? i mean my eyes started to hurt..and this movie sucks.

V. 4
A. 8
M. 2

Posted by Boralyl on 02-18-2008 05:17 AM:

The video is nice quality, but everyones head is cut off b/c of cropping. There is also lots of flicker, making any action scene unwatchable. On a positive note the audio is pretty good. The movie is terrible though.
