Heavenly Sword

I started playing this today on the PS3. So far it's not a bad game. It's similar to God of War, but not nearly as good.

Anyone play Onimusha Warlords? My buddy and I played it on the Ps2 many moons ago. This game has the same faults as that. The secondary character is weak and it makes it not as fun.

When you play as Kai you only have a bow or whatever it is, for defence up close you have your bow, No other weapon so you HAVE to keep yourself away from your enemies.

I hear this game is rather short, and so far I'm blowing right through it. I know I'm more than half way and I've only been playing about 3 hours, Maybe 4 hours.

As far as I am in this game, I know it's not going to get better, I wish it would though. Don't get me wrong it's a good game, just not great.

I actually thought it was one of the better games that came out last year, especially for PS3. Uncharted is much better, but its still a good game.

I just got to chapter 5, I plan on beating this game today, and I started today. I've never beat a game in one day before. lol.

I have to admit the story does get better as you go along. There still isn't a huge amount of story but enough to make it interesting.

Things I hate about the game thus far. The evade system. Doesn't work that well, You tap the stick and she stands there. the counter system is broken also. I found that out when I was fighting fox. He was a bitch because of that.

::Edit:: I'm on the last boss fight, I was told this game is really short, It's a bit shorter than God of War but not by much.

The story really picked up in the last half. Some of the fights were tedious but other than that, good game so far. ha.

On the last fight you realise the counter system isn't broken, it just takes a bit of getting used to.

By then of course it's a tad late.

I loved the game though, glad I only rented it but for the time it lasted, it was an utter blast.
