in regards to the audio being "low",
it isn't.
It is AC3 and that is the nature of the beast.The volume can seem overall low
esp. if played on a PC (try adjusting the volume levels within your AC3 filter) on a proper stereo set up it sounds fantastic.

Audio 7 because the balance between dialog and sfx seemed off (although probably not Diamond's fault)

Great movie with superb characters. Darabont hits another home run with this King adaptation. (And what a great ending for the movie)

The movie stopped abruptly at around 39:00 into CD1 when playing it on my Xbox with Xbox Media Center. The AVI plays fine on the PC but unlike other Xvids, I can't skip to any point in the movie on my Xbox. Booo

Disturbing film

The Mist

I watched this movie. Typical Stephen King stuff... That said, I would rate it as follows:

Audio: 10
Video: 10
Movie: 7

I'm not a huge fan of Stephen King and I've seen other movies dealing with monstrous flesh eating spiders before. I didn't care for the ending either...but you be the judge. Terrific quality though so many thanks to the poster.

After watching

V:- 10 Can't get no better
A:- 10 Same as above
M:- 8 Entertaining. It's the ending that gives it the marks..

Excellent quality as everyone else says but I have to say the movie sucked big time....

Started off promising then went typical Stephen King (ie Stupid) when the religious woman kicks off and the ending absolutely sucked huge.

The effects were good but that's about it.

This is as great as it can get. Diamond is the greatest man ever.

The end of the movie is really haunting and sad.

It's a subjective opinion in terms of the movie but keep in mind I'm a big SK fan.
