SuperFetch and ReadyBoost

So, what are the tips for using these Vista technologies?

Is USB or SD(HC) preferable? Or doesn't it make a difference?

And my PC asks me whether I want to enable ReadyBoost when I attach a USB drive but doesn't mention anything about SuperFetch...is SuperFetch something I need to enable or is it enabled by default?

Anything else that I really should know before using these techs (pitfalls? dangers? problems?).
