Some are trying to pass this off as a DVDSCR..somehow..

There is a '3', 'A', '1' on the screen, as well as 'CRIT 13', a timer and 'FOX' text. Pretty terrible quality, but I still appreciate the release.

V-7.5/8 , (Slight crop)

ha, a nuke for this is crazy. Its been sold in LA (near the studio lots) for the past 4 days.. I am shocked it wasn't done by camera since they seem to have the NY connections would expect the sellers use the same sources.. Owell as for rating, you can see all the watermarks and no blur. Kind of a rush job I guess, but if you have to see it go for it. Nothing better till r5/retail.

or perhaps a real dvdscr.

my print i just watched was of the same source i guess,
but with the tc cropped out.

there's some sort of new 'property of...' that I've not seen before,
It comes flying in and waves all over the place.
but least there's no B&W parts.

The Movie?
Top Stuff, i liked it. its got that 'Training Day' 'The Shield' feeling about it.

overall, a nice surprise, its nice to have a decent copy of a decent movie once in a while.....much preferred over any cam or TS....thanks to all the grps who tried their luck at this one...i ended up getting the kingben one( no timecode), which is better than scrolling #'s.

3-A-1 copy viewed...

Looks like crap on my PC, but I burned the avi file directly to a dvd (no conversion to vob), played on my Sony 32" LCD via Xbox360 and it is very watchable.

rated on TV

I have to say it's not too crabby, once you get into the movie, the timers and stuff just aren't that big a deal. The wavy one that comes in from time to time actually made me giggle :P
Anyway, pretty good movie, Keanu actually able to put emotion into an act *thumbs up*

blurred, washed out, timers and logos all over the place
thanks but no thanks

its a workprint..... what are you guys expecting in terms of time stamps and watermarks?

7/7/6

video quality wasnt bad, very watchable... the watermarks are slightly transparent and grey but the grey fits in well with the general colour scheme of the movie, the time stamp is at the btm left almost out of the picture frame. rarely a wavy "this belongs to" will dance across the screen but doesnt last long and doesnt happen during anything important.

if you've watched workprints before you know what to expect, no b/w btw

I'd give the video an 8, but looses a point for the watermarks and stuff.

Still, very watchable - if you wanna see this movie, this version wont ruin it for you

Well done

This is a good copy to get. Thanks MVS
There are watermarks galore, but they are NOT intrusive. There is a wavy banner that flies across the screen saying "Property of..." but it only appears a couple of times.
Watching this direct from PC to 32" LCD, ratings are:

Video - 8.5
Audio - 9
Movie - 8

Brilliant Copy

V-8 (timers etc)
A-9
V- ?

Video is excellent quality (only marked it down due to he watermarks and timers but its still highly watchable)
Audio is near perfect, especially for watching on your tv, just dont try it thru a dolby system etc as you wont get the full impact.
