:MOD EDIT: ..fuck off and don't come back! If you aren't making snide, derisive comments about groups or users then you aren't posting at all. I prefer the latter. -V

Call me naive but I just can't understand why groups who go to all the hassle involved in putting together a release, ruin the release by mis-labelling it.
If this had been released labelled as what it is, much water-marked workprint with below par sound and similarly sub-par resolution, then I would have still grabbed it because I don't grab hidef releases from those sources anyhow. I suspect most peeps have similar standards. This print is watchable particularly considering the disposable piece of crap the movie would be in a format of any quality.
For whatever deficiencies there are in this print, and there are several, the major deficencies lies in the storyline and production values.
Fox searchlight have grabbed a few HBO regulars, their current fav workhorses, and put them with a former "A lister" and made a movie reminiscent of the shield tv series.
Reminiscent shouldn't be confused with "as good as'.
However despite all that as an example of disposable pop culture, "The Street Kings" does fulfil it's purpose of giving middle aged males something to distract themselves for 100 minutes of their life.
