problem in firefox but not with ie

i'm having a problem getting to a few websites like the main page here and yahoo fantasy baseball with firefox but not with internet explorer. in firefox a blank page just shows up says waiting for www. etc.

i've reinstalled firefox and run virus / spyware scan. cleaned up some junk but nothing major, but still having the same problem.

any thoughts?

I'm using Firefox and it's working fine for me. What version are you running?

:EDIT: ..yeah, check your extensions too. I'm running AdBlockPlus, GreaseMonkey and IE Tab with no issue.

Check FF extentions too... Especially if you're running AdBlockPlus, NoScript, Greasemonkey or FasterFox.

In other words, what extentions are you running?

any thing wrong with any of those?

Try disabling Fasterfox cos that can cause some problems. You might want to remove any that you don't want or are a bit pointless anyway - such as FlagFox?

I can't believe you've got that stuff installed in FF and don't have AdBlockPlus, what's wrong with you?

just figured I'd mention the 'littlefox' theme is a current favorite of mine, more screen real estate (especially good if you use Eee pc's and such)
