I believe the audio is going out of sync over time.. also I almost believed this was a mislabeled reencode

Other than that, ratings:

v 6 - washed out an pixelated, some audience heads viewable at times
a 9 - clear and clean although it could use a bit more low end
m ? do you trust online movie reviews?

Compared to horrible cams floating around, this might be the best we get for a while. Improved/brighter video (although still fuzzy) and line (stereo?) audio.

Just jumped around, but seems to have slight sync issues

Definitely an upgrade. Rated as a true TS.

6/7/?

V 4 - dupe frames

Video 6.5
Audio 7
Movie- I have not watched it yet

Its a watchable cam.

Posted by hyperspeed543 on 05-04-2008 06:12 PM:

V 6
A 8
M - Will watch the whole thing today

The dupe frames are not nearly as bad as PreVai's Untraceable. I found this one to be the most watchable so far. although they seemed to have a lil trouble with the sync

From Sample...

Video looks very good between < 6.5 to 7.0 >
Audio is very crisp and clear < 9.0 >
Movie < ?.? >

I hear nothing but great reviews on this movie from people that have gone to theaters to see it. I would do the same today if time permitted and rather not wait until next weekend to see this for the first time. If it's that good, I'll see it again in theaters next weekend.

The video is dull, yet overall you can see most things. It is dark in places inside. Overall very watchable, the audio...well it's great some of the best audio I've heard from a TS in a while. Help me out guys, it really appears to me to be a bit off sync in many places. I can handle this sync issue and I'm going to watch it, but I notice it is like a second or half second off. Some parts are more then others. If others don't notice it I would like to know. Don't get me wrong Prevail I love the fact you guys popped out something so quikcly and I am one of the more appreciated people, I just want to know.

V-6,5
A-8 for sound quality, not the sync
M-8

Yes it is off in various spots, anywhere from 300ms up to 600ms
but alot of it is in dark scenes so it really does not seem as bad

v-7
a-7.5 (sync issues)
m-8

Posted by smiper on 05-04-2008 10:42 PM:

V--5 tops (very dark, not sharp at all, couple quick shadow head shots too--but not a sharp picture at all)
A--9 (no issues)
M--5 --rather dumb story/action

Wish I could give the video a -15 to help bring down the average to what it should be...a 5 tops (wait for something better and don't waste 90 min. like I just did)

::EDIT:: You're entitled to your opinion and I'm not saying you're wrong, but don't forget to rate the quality against other Telesync's not (for example) a DVD rip... For a Telesync the picture isn't *that* bad - Neversoft::

Posted by lagerspice on 05-04-2008 11:32 PM:

I agree with Smiper

Not sure what everone else is watching unless they are on a PSP sized screen or something:

V 5
A 6 - acceptable
M - Will wait, was going to the cinema but got too blasted last night, oopsy

Iron Man *XViD* - TELESYNC - PreVail

Video: 7 - Washed, dull, etc. Watchable, though.

Audio: 7 - Probably deserved more. Listening to it on computer. But sounds great. There are sync issues, however. Is that really an audio problem or is it a video problem? heh.. chicken before the egg sort of dilema. Just messin' .. but yeah, definately sync issues here and there.

Movie: 9 - Loved it. Fun flick. Quality wise, on par or better than Batman Begins. Blows Spiderman out of the water. Robert Downey JR just simply kicks ass and makes this movie. The directors and writers kept this a character movie, relying on script and not CGI. Looking forward to installments 2 and 3.

Grabbing first disk of Iron Man-A (2008) PROPER TS-iLG. We'll see here shortly.

proper is like 10x better than prevails nuked version. ilg is def the one to get till we see a scr or dvd.

From the sample

V - 7 burry but watchable
A - 7
M - Will wait for better rls

Posted by split710 on 05-05-2008 08:08 AM:

yes i confirm a bad.ivtc, good image but it's difficult to watch it

missing audio in 01:31:40 - 01:31:45 and "repeated" audio from 01:31:07 to 01:31:12 (they used "repeated" to take audio in sink again), Final result: is a completely desync in 01:30:42 - 01:31:48, 66 seconds where you can heard rumors and voice 5 seconds lately.

V = 4 good image but wrong inverse telecine
A = 9 considering quality but 5 considering the A.M. mistake

iLG Nfo.

INFO

Codec: XVID
Bitrate: 1600
Resolution: 592x272
Audio: 48000, MP3, VBR

Notes:
Prevail release suffers of BAD.IVTC (as for nuke), PRevail is also out of sink from 01,30,42,000 to 01,31,48,000... especially from 01,31,07,000
voice and sound have 5 "seconds" delay about (proof attacched)
