Thanks for stealing my source from Usenet without crediting me

My ratings, but I'm probably biased

V = 8 - Bright enough, colourful, not overcropped when actually pointing at the screen, but 13+ minutes of missing/unwatchable footage (Explained in the original nfo which has not been included)
A = 7 - Lots of crowd laughter, but very easy to hear, not too much echo. Recorded using a separate recorder so the audio is complete even through the missing video.
M = 8 - Funny, but not as good as I was expecting.

Tailschao, first of all, you have some guts exposing yourself over here as well within usenet. Be careful bro.
Second, too bad a 'group' feels the need to steal your work, but better get used to it while there are lots of this kind of 'grps'.
No honour among thieves.

I must say your vid seems okay, but don't you think an 8 is a little too much? Moreover while you mention in your nfo/post there is quite a bit missing. This is reason for nuke: incomplete footage. This might comfort ya, while yours can't be nuked, but this 'scene grp' will. Colors seems a bit washed and there's a wavepattern.

Audio, well, hollow but audible. 320kbps is way overdone, just keep it max 192, or 128VBR. For cam thats just fine imho. Ofcourse you're entitled to do what you want. I could give you some suggestions on mics etc. H2 is nice. Will not tell here.

I'm really keen on your nfo's you post, read them which much pleasure! Keep up the good work, and don't let these stealin' scumbacks ruin your pleasure.

If ya want something more... something else... you want suggestions..whatever, feel free to PM me anytime over here. We can set something up to talk confidential and secure.
Respect and peace.

i had the usenet version that was stolen and watched it last night. video was quite good although missing chunks of footage (although i thought the play by plays were nice ).
audio was great for a cam.

Very good job with this CAM.

Even though there are some scenes missing, overall picture quality is nice.

7/6/ have not seen yet

R5 is coming soon

sorry to the mods in advance for the 10/10/10 voting, but had to make up for the douche that voted 1/1...

v: 7 very nice for a cam, although missing footage is kind of a drag
a: 7 clear enough, i was laughing along with the crowd :P
m: 8 thoroughly enjoyed

tailschao, this is all for you, not the thief.

Very good quality for a cam, it's unfortunate that so much footage is ruined or missing.

Video: 7, but missing a lot with a lot either out of focus or over-zoomed
Audio: 8, I threw a quick filter on there using ffdshow and it sounded better yet. The crowd isn't bad at all.
Movie: will wait. I got about 15 minutes into the movie before giving up.

Very nice cam for someone new to the game. I hope to see more from you in the future

Posted by thundercard on 05-11-2008 10:33 AM:

v: 7 good quality missing some, but overall very nice.

a: 8 Good Audio

m: About to watch ??

tailschao,
Keep up the good work and don't let these people bring you down. There are people out there that appreciate it

not bad for a cam, less the missing footage. Nice job in changing seats, that guys head in the first 4 minutes was not just huge but annoying. Decent colors, good sharpness.

based on a cam:

v: 7.5
a: 7
m: 7

Posted by pomh on 05-11-2008 09:42 PM:

there are two major defects, and they are both loss of video at the very beginning and toward the very end. The beginning it appears the cammer, who did a good job without these mistakes, started filming a little too late and got the focus just perfect about 13 minutes into the movie. The second is at the end when as the video goes away, words are placed to tell what the scene is. The audio is there, but no video for a few minutes as well... The colors weren't the best, but the focus for this being a cam was almost perfect minus the errors made during camming... whoops... maybe next time, wait, there won't be a next time, just a next release...

Posted by monte1911 on 05-19-2008 01:13 PM:

hehe - watching this movie makes you feel like the camera man!

To be fair though, in the moments where he actually got the screen in focus the quality was very decent.
