From scanning the movie. DiAMOND quality throughout thus no need for further comment. Unbelievable $90M budget. Must see what that kind of money provides even if family flick.

Agree with previous posters excellent quality .. my kid is 4 and he didn't get into it till the goblins and stuff started showing up

I watched this last night :

While this is typically not my kind of movie, I wanted to be sure that it wasn't too intense for some of younger kids (of my friends) who might watch it. I would say that the cutoff for kids would be around seven or eight years old. Younger than that might have nightmares from the big bad ogre. In spite of this being primarily a kids flick, I enjoyed it very much. No expense was spared in the CG visuals (very well done) and the story was pretty good too. Overall, I enjoyed this movie very much. If you liked the Narnia movies and the Harry Potter movies, you will enjoy this movie too.
