This is top notch encoding. Skipped it through and it is flawless for being an R5. In sync and very watchable. Video quality is above average R5, it is bright and not dark as usually.

Audio and Video are excellent....

Too bad this movie is complete GARBAGE. Waste of time even bothering putting out this release. This movie isn't worth the bandwith.

Excellent copy, and excellent and amazingly underrated sci-fi thriller. :-)

an excellent release in video and audio terms, but the reviews looks horrific so I may watch it for comedy value.

Oh dont forget about the subtitles for this, they are needed for the last few minutes of the movie ....

V = 9
A = 8
m = ?

From scanning. First class audio and video. Already watched the TS rlse. At best fair quality with much jabbering about censorship and editing. Cleared up apparently with this version. Movie not good but with quality rlse and nothing missing may slightly sway my opinion.

9/9/?

Have you guys watched more than the sample?

The Video is very good , but there is something very wrong with the Audio on the XViD release. I havent seen the DVDR release to compare.

Sounds as though it's coming through one speaker and its painful to listen to.

A - 2

Nice vid but the sound needs a little EQ upping.

The first 20 minutes had me really interested, then, ugh...The acting is terrible, so was the rest of the movie.

Anach,

You're somewhat correct about the sound. I just checked the audio data, it is in fact MONO but signed 16 bit stereo.

I played the XVID thru my XBOX360, so I didn't notice that much. But if you try and covert it to DVD format you might have a problem.

LINE is always mono

No one cracked DTS theater discs yet that use to be great telecines with 5.1 audio

why do their voices always sound like the chipmunks with line audio... -_-

rather they just use cam audio

7.5/5/5

I hate how people watch 20 seconds of these releases and then spout bullshit here.

The audio is terrible. I wasted my bandwidth because people gave the audio a 10 here. I should have known it was too good to be true.

V 9
A 4
M 4

Posted by CARR73 on 07-05-2008 10:56 AM:

There is a small scene near the end that does need subs.

V : 9
A : 9 (seemed fine here)
M : ?

Posted by name_danny on 07-05-2008 12:04 PM:

I grabbed this cos of people giving the audio 9's and 10's when it blatantly isn't. At that the end of every sentence there's a rising hiss that annoyed the hell outta me. Video's fine tho and the bit needed for subs at the end won't be spoilt if you don't have them - I think you'll get the gist!

BaLD talks about their dedication to excellence or something but they're falling well short. They did a very poor audio job on The Other Boleyn Girl too if I remember rightly. Apologies if it wasn't them.

Film was a strange one - M Night peaked with 6th Sense and it's been a gradual downhilling since. Having said that this is far better than Lady in the Water!
