From scanning and then watching for about 20 minutes. A/R is off but easily corrected. Rest is problem free. From what I have seen lots of blood and gore.

8/9/?

Exactly my type of movie. What a gem. Odd never even heard of it. 9.0.

Plube is not a scene group. Rules don't say that you can't steal from p2p, so this release can't be nuked on that basis.

"Dupe of Plube"

sounds hilarious

And you picture just shows how little they care about that they took it I think they left it on purpose

Yeah they left it on purpose because they are morons. When your stealing P2P releases just so you can release it as your own "scene" release you deserve to be nuked unless you atleast give credit to the source.

TradingStandard always has and always will be a joke.

It's not the fact it's a dupe, it's the fact they just stole Plube and claimed it as their own.

Tradingstandards are always good for a laugh. They have a perfect record - 100% nukes.

This is a really good action movie.
Surprisingly good.

I watched the Plube release and it's excellent. Don't know about the "Trading Standards" version (funny name, given...) but it's an excellent rip. I was expecting a typical crap B Movie, but this is well worth checking out.

9/9/8.

Recommended.

Trading standards version very good quality, ratio is 4:3 but easly fixed in vlc player. Great movie, whoda thunk it from a message board game.

v - 8 (- 1 for ratio)
a - 8 (a little distortion)
m - 9

Posted by robert_sole on 07-12-2008 01:45 PM:

only TRADINGSTANDARDS could rip a retail dvd and mess up the aspect ratio ROFLMAO .. these guys are beyond noob, my 3 year old sis couldnt release 13 movies and get 13 nukes, I now respect them for comedy value.

v=1 ... bad AR is inexcusable
a=8 ... yay its in sync
m=?

Posted by Ekno on 07-12-2008 03:38 PM:

Not so many understand TRADINGSTANDARDS
Read their name again, do you get it now? They are showing how lame the scene has become, many nukes, nobody cares about the rules, and that is the standard, haha the trading standard. what is it you do in the scene, you trade.
It's on purpose that they release like this, to make you understand the obvious, that many doesn't understand.

An example is that silvers have become standard to get released, even though they are nuked people still release them.
You remember all the releases with "dupe frame every second" they just got released even though they shouldn't. It became a "standard" to have releases with dupe frame every second. And now almost all cams have that problem.

Tradingstandards just shows how the scene is/has become.

From what I've read this is not a commercial DVD rip, but came from a screener sent out in 4:3 format. A version with corrected AR is already out there:

Mutant.Chronicles.2008.DVDRip.Corrected.PSK.avi

Go for it...

V=8
A=9
M=7 Worth watching once if you're into SciFi.

Could we start getting some IMDB links for these things?
Even if the release group is lazy and doens't put it in the nfo, maybe you guys could spend a few seconds and put it up?

I'll do this one for you:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0490181/

(I can understand if its missing an IMDB link if its not clear what it is or if its not in IMDB, but if its the only hit from a search for it...)

Please?

Mutant Chronicles

I watched this on my computer and rate it accordingly:

Audio: 9
Video: 9
Movie: 8

As previously posted, Sci Fi lovers will enjoy this movie. Story line is interesting and acting is good. Cast includes Ron Perlman and John Malkovich (in a small role).

Thanks to Trading Standards for a good release. I didn't notice any aspect ratio issue but as I said I watched it on my computer.
