FROM THE SAMPLE >>

video = 7 - slightly blurred, barely any colour , but minimum ghosting and doesnt look cropped, very watchable (boost the colour saturation and add sharpening to improve it.)

audio = 7 - its loud, clear and has bass, but I couldnt judge the lipsync as the sample all has bank robbers in masks lol.

movie = ??? unwatched - but there is an STG version of this that looks better than mVs, so I'll watch that instead.

V-7 (Dull colors and not very sharp, slight flicker, looks to have a very minute tilt and doesn't appear to be too cropped...)
A-? (One speaker at the moment)
M-?

Compare these two.

mVs release.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/LifeSuxLoveIsWar/vlcsnap-77083.png

STG release.

Now compare these two.

STG release.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/LifeSuxLoveIsWar/vlcsnap-5778801.png

JamBo release.

I think that the JamBo release has the best colors and sharpness, but I don't like the fact that it's half the size of the other releases.

Hancock was severly overcropped, this isn't too bad by comparison.

Watchable and listenable for sure.

7/6/9

cant see what difference this makes ??
do u get more years in prison if u use mint camcorder etc than u do if using cheaper older 1 ??
if u get caught u get done regardless of technology u using
anyway i agree could get clearer video if used mint equipment
but this is ok anyway not much better than prevails really
maybe lil more crop??
v-8 a-8 m-? not seen fully but the amount if checking ive done of it i may not need to watch it fully lolol

alternate try this
The Dark Knight TS XVID - STG
u may prefer it

Except for cropping issue can't see much difference between this rlse and Prevail's. Both are pretty cruddy because of lack of color and at best adequate resolution. Same fairly heavy pix most notable in dark scenes too. Unfortunately downloaded mVs's due to all studip things the name of the group. Started in on Cd1 and lasted 15 minutes Very poor quality. New one out thats seems fair amount better. Dual something or other. As for mVs:

5.5/7/?

Posted by Sherweaz on 07-24-2008 04:40 AM:

v - 6
a - 6 (Too much bass on surround sound system)
m - 8.5

Think I will be getting the STG release over the Jambo release because the Jambo release is only 1 cd.

Posted by dan solo on 07-24-2008 09:20 AM:

same video source as the prevail rls except its overcropped and has worse soundquality

6/6/9.9

Posted by Hyway on 07-24-2008 12:37 PM:

mvs -which was much better-both just need to have some color added -shame alot of u all dont have that availability with ur tv or player- and for mvs 1 click zoom it was fine-yeah zoom cause of crop-for a ts it had some sync issues in the begining-im not anal enuff to have marked the time - but it did go back into sync-
vid -7
aud -7 was alot of bass
movie-9

need a dvd9 or blueray- waiting to watch again
not enuff joker time for the hype--was bummed about that-but wife [physc nurse] was happy with his role and wanted more -just not enuff screen time for a oscar imo-but was excellent for what was there-A nod is deserved.

Good enough..7/7/?

Posted by bbatardo on 07-24-2008 04:54 PM:

Quality is decent, but I'd still wait for a better version.. unless you can't wait.

Video - 6

Audio - 7

Movie - 10

i was able to get this.. but it was too difficult to watch..

v - 5
a - 6

Posted by a-mac on 08-02-2008 02:18 AM:

every ts rls off this movie I've seen so far has had the same video source just with special filters applied.

(Small Spoiler Alert, Small Spoiler Alert)

I know this because every time at the scene when, Harvey is in the hospital with the Joker someone walks in front of the screen I didn't finish each one, but that a rare thing. STG's, MVS's, JAMBO'S their all the same. If it wasn't for the people in front of the screen I'd say it's ain't a bad rls but.

v-5.5
a-7
m-10 (saw it in theaters)

Posted by Dromedary on 08-06-2008 05:28 AM:

can't believe no one has caught this yet.

there are reasons why it is a bad crap. it's because it's not a TS, it's a cam. a very well done cam at that.

the problem with this guy's cam though, is he was sitting too close and too far to the left. this caused them to have to overcrop it to make it _appear_ to have clean edges, but in reality it's a cam.

props for a well done cam. if the video source is the same as others, it must have been a cam as well (didn't see), it's decent considering it's a cam. it's pretty not cool to improperly label your releases though IMO.

if no one can tell the difference between a TS and a cam these days, that's kinda sad.

centropy, where are you when we need you most one of the greatest movie releases. a nice svcd TS like spiderman was done for this movie would have been awesome. a shame svcd releases are becomming extinct =\ the quality is truly sub-par on many levels.

::EDIT:: I've deleted three posts that were pointing out the OBVIOUS error in the above... Don't stray off-topic folks, stick to reviewing this release. As for you Dromedary, you need to look-up the definition of what a TS (Telesync) is: http://www.vcdquality.com/index.php?page=faq cos you just made yourself look like a tit AND you didn't review the release oh yeah, you've also been quoted in the VCDQ "Hall of Shame" http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25880 - Neversoft::

Posted by Smoka on 08-08-2008 02:36 PM:

V - 7 (A little too dark to make out some scenes clearly, not a big issue)

A - 8 (A little too much bass, but a little equalizing can solve this)

M - 10 (Worth it just to see Ledger perform the best Joker, insanely good performance)
