Seems to be a valid R5 Line.

Crisp video and nice sound.

Haven't detected any flaws, but I skimmed through this, gonna watch it tonight I guess.

Rating from skimming through;

M: ? (Heard it's not really x files from ppl who watched in the cinema)
A: 7
V: 7,5

V-8
A-8
M-6 slightly disappointing

Posted by T2U on 08-30-2008 06:06 PM:

didnt hear any "cam audio" at all at the 43 minute mark although that part of the movie was shot in a locker room that had an echo in it good overall quality V-8.5 A-8.5 M-8 ( i liked it) but im a big x-file fan

Posted by surge on 08-30-2008 06:17 PM:

I'm really glad that someone sync'd this..but, the Audio is far from sounding like a Line - esp on my surround sound. Very hollow / tinny / etc. Maybe it is a line, just not the greatest.

A - 5.5 / reasons above
V - 8 / looks alright, not the best r5 i've seen
M - 3

movie was terrible...they had so long to work on this and this is the story line that they came up with? bleh!

Posted by rob9099 on 08-30-2008 06:53 PM:

I think it's Internal because it's a 2CD release. Picking up this (Alliance) release right now, and will comment on it once it's completed.

Bad bad writing. If that wasn't horrible enough, they added a very heavy dose of religion to the mix.

Yes, I said religion.

Run... Run fast!!!!

V-8, good for an R5 Line

A-8, I converted this to dvd and played it on my xbox360 and it sounded like surround sound to me. The weird thing is that when I played the avi file before I conveted it to vob files, the avi sounded like cam audio....

M- 6, very disappointing, don't go into this movie with expections and this is from and x-files fan. Alot of questions never get answer from the original series which I thought they were going to in this movie, they even hinted at it in the movie which pisses me off even more that we still get no clear answer... Heres hoping they make a good x-files movie sooner or later because this is just avrg compared to the great tv show.

This fucking idiot always bangs on about other releases, review this one you twat or don't post.

^^^ Fuck off, I'm not hating on this release at all, it's very much so appreciated. I'm just letting it be known that there is another release out there that might suit the pickier downloader.

Quality on this release looks fantastic and the sound isn't as bad as some say. Sound is clear and audible, no complaints here.

M-7 (not bad, it passes a couple of hours)

Posted by Neversoft on 09-03-2008 04:22 PM:

Yeah, watched this a few days ago... My audio setup isn't that great anyway but I had no major issues with the sound - the odd crackle and hiss but nothing that spoilt it, I didn't think it was tinny or "cam audio" either, it sounded fine.

As for the movie... As far as I can tell it was an old, rejected, X-Files script that they dug out and turned into a movie. Not a bad movie but doesn't deliver anything "extra" over a normal X-Files episode.

V - 8 (nice and clear)
A - 6 (hisses and pops from time to time but full and clear)
M - 6 (meh, the point of doing a movie is to bring MORE to the franchise, not just make a feature length episode of the same old shit)

My complaint goes to the audio. Clearly taken from a telesync or some other low quality version.

If they have a DVD version to rip the video, why isn't the audio better?
