Funny

Well MVS like TheBatman grabbed this off P2p. Who do they think they're kidding. These groups are a joke. Neither could take the time to DEINTERLACE the source. It took all of thirty minutes running it through decomb. It looks nice on a tv now. Sad. I guess these guys are equally as newbish for just renaming this P2P grab as their own and NOT bothering to clean it up.....The only thing MVS did was a simple structure fix.

Anyway, these groups must really think we're dumb when it comes to where they get these from....

god damn how many times do i have to read "stolen from p2p".. yes we all get it groups steal shit from p2p these days, but it saves me the trouble of having to worry about torrenting so thanks mvs for doing the hard work..

Good quality but going to wait for retail.

9.1..?

how does the voting system work? quality etc?
how does this get 9/9/8 when no-one has voted higher than 8 for it?

:STAFF EDIT: ..the scores in the threads aren't linked to the front page scores. It's a seperate system which we will be merging into one when the forum is upgraded and the site is redesigned (it's moving forward - honest!). Only one person voted via the front page and they voted 9/9/8 hence what you're seeing. -V

I have optics - ok until you full screen it
and im downloading DVDSCR LTS 3.5Gb version (I fear wasting my time if it hasnt been copied direct from original source - if this is just an encoded version of the others then im wasting my (8hours) time and quality will be no better than me encoding it myself to DVD in 20 mins

how come LTS doesnt have a mention in VCDquality?

:STAFF EDIT: ..they are a non-scene group and we only post scene releases here. -V

These groups are sloppy. I like mVs also, but they kind of disappointed on this one. What is the difference between this and the other two out there besides the file system? Not a darn thing. Still interlaced and the same quality. They rip on others for rushing releases yet they rushed their own and never bothered to Deinterlace. Hypocritical if you ask me. A file structure fix is not a big deal, but vid quality is noobs, get it right next time.

Any chance you could let me know how to run the DVD through decomb?

:STAFF EDIT: ..please take these questions to PM or the encoding forum for everybody else to see the answer. Release comments only here. Thanks. -V

Aww quit your bellyaching. You all sound like irate women. This movie was dark so all cam and ts releases were garbage, this is the best version so far. We've been waiting for a watchable copy and this is the one to get until R5 or dvd rip.

Jesus, this has turned to madness aint it.

For all the people moaning about the groups messing up the quality, I would be surprised if any of them had actually touched them.
More likely that they just packed and uploaded as they got it, someone could fix some of the problems by Re-Encoding again, but them the blockiness gets alot worse

Video is badly interlaced, Letterboxed instead of Anamorphic, and blocky as hell.

Audio is only stereo, but sounds fine from what I've heard, and is certainly the saving grace of this.

5/8/8

[why does my post keep vanishing!? - its about the quality]

How bad is the interlacing?
Is the LTS version also interlaced?

??? Missing Footage

Does this release also have the same glitch @ 1h49'39 - Both LTS's DVDr & Optics' Xvid suffer with this glitch, so are they all fromm the same faulty source origin. Check - there is about 1 minute of footage missing as the scene jumps from DA gordon questioning the rookie cop in a travelling vehicle To The Joker and Harvey Dent going at it in the hospital room.

V: ?

A: ?

M: ?

Can't watch it OR rate it if there's missing footage.

Yes theres a SMALL glitch. Nothing to whine about anyway.

As for missing footage, there is noen as far as I can tell. Gordon proceeds to question the Cop AFTER the hospital scene. Check again.
