The pictures posted do suck, but I did check my sites just now and there are more pics. It looks to be real, but it's still a bit surprising. Reminds me of when Phonebooth had a DVDRip after only being in the theatre for 2 weeks.

Note: Most likely an R5.

[NUKED] mislabeled.r5_not.retail.dvdrip

Posted by vat0r on 09-17-2008 05:12 AM:

Rated as an R5. Even if it's nuked it's worth it.

V-9 mild pixelation
A-9
M-7

Great copy, to bad they mislabeled it.

Posted by opogon on 09-17-2008 05:32 AM:

Don't care if it is an R5 as long as the quality is good. You sure about that 9/9 rating Vator?

What do you mean even if it's nuked it's worth it? If it's nuked it's only because it's mislabeled, and not because the quality is bad, or it's oos or anything...if it's an in sync R5 then I say it's definitely worth it. I'm picking this up right now and will report back later.

Posted by opogon on 09-17-2008 05:59 AM:

Thanks danimal39, probably would have picked this one up anyway, but since your the second one to rate this as good quality, I'm going to go get it now.

From what I read, this movie did so poorly in theatres that they decided they needed to bump up the dvd release. Judging by the 3stars @ imdb, I'm guessing producers were afraid little interest would turn into no interest.

I meant exactly what I typed. Some people see a nuke and tend to go no further. Just trying to be helpful to those interested is all.

The quality is awesome.

V-9
A-9
M-7 (Had its' moments)

college

Audio: 9
Video: 9 (didn't notice any pixelation)
Movie: 8

Reminded me of my own experiences in my college fraternity. Some pretty juvenile humor and a little over the top (unless things have really gotten out of hand these days on college campuses) but like the previous poster said, it has its moments.

Worth the download. Thanks to the provider.

great rip if it's dvd or r5, but movie is crapppppola....just go watch superbad again...much superior

I didn't download the release, but I watched the movie in theaters and I liked it. I'm not sure why the rating on imdb is so bad.

I think anyone who thinks they might like this movie probably will, I would be surprised if you like those kinds of movies like american pie, etc. but don't like this one at least enough to enjoy it!

Posted by 0LdTiMeR on 09-20-2008 06:12 AM:

Well from the looks of it on the PC, as mentioned looks R5 and not DVDRip.

Anyway besides the point its a pretty sweet copy for just comming out a few weeks ago and not some crappy camera, screener.

Props to group.

M - 7

A - 8

M - ?

Side Note: Wasted a good 4 CDR's on this release as it wont play in any of my Phillips DVP players. Anyone know which codec they used? It skips 10 seconds - 20 seconds - 30 seconds - 40 seconds etc and just keeps skipping up every 10 seconds in the DVD player.

Gonna have to re-encode or watch on PC.
