vitrual memory

I recently cleaned my pc with a few apps

since the clean, every time I open online pokies for example, after a while it slows up and says a warning about lack of virtual memory

how do I allocate more v/memory and what should i set it at?

for online gaming I think i would need more than the usual? yes? no?

Your virtual memory by default sorts itself out, I suspect one of those apps has fixed it at a set value... Change it back

Indeed, this is likely.

the best rule of thumb for virtual memory is to a: let windows deal with it and/or b: set it to 1.5 times the amount of ram you have in your machine.

unless you are using programs that use swap quite a bit (big graphics, video editing, etc) I would say just let windows manage your VM.

Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced tab > Performance (settings) > Advanced tab > Virtual Memory (change)

Don't fuck it up
