Soul Calibur
I'm just wondering if we got any good SC players on here. I can't be the only one who plays this game.
I finally got this the other day. First time playing it I beat it in about 12-15 mins. Sheesh.

I played the demo and I'm just not impressed, I'm still waiting for that hope in the back of my head that one day fighting games will evolve from clunky button mashers we've had since the genre first exploded 15 years ago to smooth battle with real tactics and balanced moves. One day maybe, one day...

There is a lot of depth to these games.
I remember downloading a FAQ when i was into Soul Blade for the playstation.
I tried to learn a few of the characters moves but I kind of stuck with Li Long.
I can see how people can think that there is nothing to these games but it really is a rewarding experience to learn them properly.
I also remember learning how to attack opponents in the air which was fun.You could knock someone up into the air and if you were close enough you could get a few more attacks in whilst they were falling to the ground. It was like juggling them in the air.Cool as fuck.
I played a bit of the follow ups but never had the time to get fully into them.Just didn't have the time.
I might invest in Soul Calibur IV though if the price comes down a bit.
Button bashers will always be defeated.
