Very bad video, especially for a dark movie.

V-5/5.5 (A 5.5 is being generous. Super dull/dark and pixelated)
A-7/7.5 (Loud and clear)
M-? (Still undecided)

"BEWARE: It seems the audio and video are out of sync as well. I would definitely not download this."

Decent enough first release.

Video - Cropped a little on all sides. Slight tilt from left to right. Camera is steady throughout the entire film no tw@t factor at any point either. As mentioned it is dark but not to such an extent to make it unwatchable. General colour is ok, little washed out.

Audio - Did seem to dip in and out of sync, but nothing major. Nice and loud, no hiss etc.

Movie - Same formula but this time with a mass of backstory (YAWN!) Nothing particularly inventive in this one, I barely even cringed.

6/7/4

...has been nuked for 6mb oversize...personally I would wait for better before burning to CD anyway...

This is NOT the first release, but yeah..the Nuke reason is hardly understandable, but still stupid imo (considering I RARELY burn anything).

Edit: This appears to have a horrible ghosting effect. The quality of this release looks terrible on my TV.

A step back from the super-gore of S3 and S4.. which could be a good thing if you like a more plot driven film.. however most SAW lovers don't want story.. if it was a 90 minute snuff film they'd be in heaven.. this one is slightly washed colour wise.. but it can be fixed.. so if it's important that you see it.. you could do worse..

dark in parts and bright in others. audio sounds pretty good so if nothing else is released soon, this may be it for the meantime, but you be the judge...

V5
A6.5
M? - Could not really justify watching as so dark!

I have been down'ing movies since the 1st saw flick, so I have seen some crappy releases of it. I think WUF did saw 3 or 4, and it was really dark, when ppl say this is dark, obviously they havent seen some of the others. Id say 10% tops isnt viewable due to darkness, id say ghosting is as prevalent of a reason as darkness to why some deem this unwatchable.

I watched it, and sure, its not pretty. I liked this better than saw 4, but it was still a mess in the storyline, so much I was wondering if there is a chronological saw website, I dont know where all the pieces fit anymore.

enough with that though
5/7.5/7ish

I do think its amazing how Saw (a classic) has progressed to such intelligible muck, but i know why, and that is $

This one wanders around the borders of watchable and nonwatchable, imho. Audio was good, I have to say.

Video is dark, but you get the idea of what is happening tho Colors washed etc, like said before.

The movie, well. It ended kinda quick. It had raised questions to my mind (as many as it answered about the previous movies) for what I was waiting to get an answer but I guess Saw VI will do this.

All in all:

V-5
A-7
M-7
