Looks good to me

Viewed on standalone

For Your Consideration pops up every now and then at the bottom centre of the screen.

Hardcoded subs for foreign language parts.

It says 198 Chapters, yet if i skip chapters it will stop after chapter 70 (around 37mins). There's only 70 chapters, chapter 70 being an hour long and the others are less than a minute.

The full film is there.

It also says Ger next to the audio icon when i click display on my remote. Initially i thought oh ffs, but no need to worry its english

Converted xvid to dvd or actual dvd of the screener ? lol

Anyway it looks sweet on my TV so i aint complaining

Very clean dvdscr, only a few "for your consideration"-messages and no b/w scenes.

played back thru VLC and WinDVD on the PC and the interlacing gives a very poor picture. Not watchable for me.

Why not discard the interlacing in VLC?

Just lazy i guess

I don't want to have to arse around re-encoding something that should have been ripped properly in the first place.

i watched this on my hdtv and it did not look interlaced, quality was great for so early sound was a little low but a nice release, whats interesting to me is they might be starting to release these on bluray soon that would be sweet!

for a dvdscr:

It's been so hard
but I can't let it die
Turn my head up,
looking at the stars
So many years,
I still wonder where you are?
Dust myself up
and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly
