tv glasses

Has anyone heard of these? or possibly used a pair? I've been eye balling these things for a few weeks and I'm extremely curious about em. My understanding is there starting to be sold in some stores like Best Buy and Micro Center, Well I guess Myvu is being sold at some retailers.

I'm just curious how they'd work. Would it produce an image worth watching? Xvid looks like shit on my tv, so I just wonder if they'd look better with these things?

Ive had a pair of sony glasstron plma55's for maybe 4 years now work great. i know there are better version out right now. but my sonys are awesome.

I tried the Olympus Eyetrek in London around 8 years ago or so, they were interesting but no way could I use them for any prolonged period of time. Intrigued to know how the technology has progressed since, but not via cheap nasty shit like that.
