m8 reminded me of the game Twisted Metal for Playstation 1

Works OK on the PC, but main reason for getting DVDr is to watch on the standalone.

Burned to DVD to watch on my standalone but it will not play.

I noticed there is 2 files for the main movie, one is 1h 50m (4,416mb) the other is 1h 38m(3,929mb). I burned again without the 1h 38m file but it still wouldn't play.

I have a feeling i could rip just the main movie and it would work but i want the menu. I'm pretty sure someone on this forum will know whats what and how to sort it.

OK i've just been messaged about a patch, so i'm going to try that. I will update on how it goes.


EDIT* OK used the patch and it works a treat. Sorry i can't tell you where to get it as the guy i got it from is no longer online.

It was a rar file (422kb) and the program used was Icarus.

Anyway from skimming through, will watch fully tonight

EDIT** NUKED - REASON-bad.vts_scene.selection.doesnt.work_freezes.on.most.players

Just hope the patch makes it watchable all the way through without freezing. Not to fussed about scene selection as long as the movie plays seamlessly from start to finnish. Anyway i will be watching it in a few hours, so i will report back afterwards.

Just watched this on the standalone. The fix works, the movie played seamlessly from start to finnish. It does not fix the scene selection though.

My ratings stand.

Also the repack is NUKED - REASON-bad.dvd.struture

if you only want the movie and strip out all the extras, this works fine.

Rated for movie only
