Another quality release from Orc thank you. Excellent Ts 9/9/? from sample.
just flicked thru the whole release, chair in bottom right corner, doesn't detract too much. audio sounds fine to me and is in sync, from whole movie 8/9/?

This looks just SLIGHTLY out of sync in the sample. Anyone else notice that?

Other than that, a fine release. There is a chair in the bottom corner of the screen but it doesn't seem too distracting.

2CD release, probably an overkill. The chair in the corner takes a pretty good chunk out of the screen but it's not too bad.

8/7/7

The kiddos have been asking for this one for "eons". Thanks ORC. A decent job that will please them. They won't notice the subtle flaws and we parents get almost a couple hours of peace and quiet.

if the chair wasn't in view i would say this would be almost screener quality, the key word is almost making this better than average minus the color looking just a tad washed out, but this is clear enough in my opinion to be almost screener quality... enjoy (i don't burn my movies anymore...)

Posted by Objectivist S on 01-07-2009 09:38 AM:

^^ It doesn't really appear washed out to me, but to each their own.

V-8.5/9 (Fantastic, but the colors look a bit off, maybe too bright/dark?)

Yes, the sample avi is out of sync. Color and sound are great for a telesync.

Ok this is fine quality, after the pukka telesync 'bedtime stories', this is great. thx orc! Few minus points. The seat that sucks, thake a tripod :P or some books, popcorn box or what the fuck ever, so it will not happen next time. Second thing @the end the movement, but not so big problem .

Audio is nice, little hiss, and the 30seconds sucks :P.

Chick Flick? umm... I suppose you two thought Old Yeller (1957) is a chick flick too?
These are chick flicks...

I just checked the sample. Will watch soon though.

8/8/?

This is nothing like a SCR as stated above. NOt only with that seat in the way but the colors are a lil off on it. Not Washed out but distortion is there time to time. It's funny though, on the left side you can see the line from the reel there at times too lol.

This release is very watcheable. In fact, since its a dog/kid move its def. the one to get..

Video - it is good. no real issues. colors are off sometimes. Mainly there is a chair in bottom right. Also, EXIT sign appears midway through. but its ok.. Also, the ending is cut off in mid sentence. whatever..no biggie as prob most of you just want to shut it off anyways,

Sound - fine. midway through it went into mono or something for about 1 minute..no real issue

Movie - 6 ...good, but not great. average watch. see it and forget it.

Chick flick?

Release was fair. Chair in the way is obtrusive to say the least.

v- 6.5
a- 7
m- 8.5

This isn't your average movie about dogs. It's more of a true to life examination of what it's like to have a dog in your family. I love dogs more than a lot of people.

Great flick!

Samples are quite often out of sync,
they do it on purpose so that gimp mask can work out who the noobs are,OSH told me that

LOL... The plot key words have already been associated to this movie. Let me guess because 3 morons who think that because this movie had 5 minutes of movie that relates to a relationship between a male and a female that this should be a chick flick...

That list was mearly an example of what society considers a chick flick something like: "You've got mail" or "While you were sleeping" or "Dirty Dancing"... Not a movie that where the majority of the plot revolves around a dog and it's family.

Also you should not be commenting unless you have seen atleast the sample. Obviously your ability to follow the rules are as weak as your ability to categorize movies.

Video was pretty good lil scratchy here and there plus the big black blob on the bottom right hand side didn't help at all. Audio got messed up in one part for about 5 seconds then it gets good again.

Overall the movie was definitely watchable plus its a good movie. Specially if you have the lady friend over and you just want to throw on something a lil fun to watch with the ol' lady
