What I've watched recently

Appaloosa: damn fine film
The Wrestler: Fantastic film
Frozen River: Pretty good, much different than i expected.
Lakeview Terrace: Plop your brain out for the fun ride, but that's it. I liked it for what it was.
Body of Lies: Pretty decent flick, not Scott's best movie, lol.
Revolutionary Road: Fantastic movie
Pride and Glory: Underhyped and not bad, I expected a crap movie but I enjoyed it.
In the Electric Mist: can I just forgot I even watched it? Horrible movie with great actors.
Towelhead: very good movie, Some characters remind me of ManCandy, lol. Just kidding.
Religulous: Very funny, but yet so fucking true.
Seven Pounds: I've heard nothing but bad stuff about this movie, but I really enjoyed it. It was a sad movie and not the type of flick Will Smith would normally do.

Still got some others to watch, So what have you guys watched recently?

I agree The Wrestler was a good flick, I just watched "Ten Inch Hero" (couldn't resist a comedy with a title like that) with a girl friend, def more of a chick movie but it had it's moments, kinda wannabe empire records made 10+ years too late imo, but a decent time killer.

If you're talking about this movie yes, I've seen it. I thought it was quite good. I may have to watch it again.

Have both the original short and the resulting film. The short is actually a lot better...all the muff and funny bits without the crappy storyline to get in the way

I thought Seven Pounds was a good movie too.It was quite slow paced but definitely worth watching.

Gran Torino was another good movie.

The gf told me she thought she'd watched the wrong movie after we watched seven pounds. She'd seen the trailer and expected it to be a bit of a fast paced action flick.

Its dificult to get into a movie when it's pretty much the opposite of what you're expecting.

Some fricken douchebag told me that Seven Pounds was a "feelgood movie". Imagine my suprise, suffering from depression before watching, I came out out of the theater feeling suicidal.

Last three movies i've watched have been..
Constantine (in gloroius 1080p)
Imps
Futurama into the wild green yonder.
