Does the BDrip offer any better quality

Or in general, can an Xvid from a Blue Ray be better than one from a DVD?
Presumably the output is the same, but it just takes longer to encode?

i think it does a little bit better... i watched this last night on samsung 50inch 1080p lcd looked better than a normal dvd..
