Obligatory shameless birthday thread!

Yes... it's my birthday and it's a big one (fnarr). I'm now officially in my 30s and finally have an appropriate hair and waistline for my age.

Nothing too manic today (I went out last weekend with my mates - see attached picture for the state I ended up in.. I don't know whose hat that was!). Just a nice Italian meal with immediate family from both sides and the kids (one of which was 2 yesterday so double celebration) today and a few beers later this evening.

Good day today. Nice fillet of beef meal with a bottle of decent red wine. Few beers and then onto the presents...

Three bottles of whiskey, engraved silver plectrum, custom cuff links of old-style 5 pence pieces issued on the year I was born, FarCry 2 (360), a decent griddle pan, couple of shirts, pair of trainers, clothes vouchers, weekend in a nice hotel in London next week, chocolates and um... some other stuff I can't remember.

I'm off to play CoD:WaW with some of the #sb peeps in a bit and get drunk.

Yep, our para worked in a sweat shop when he was younger and also had the obligatory uphill paper round...He also fell out of the ugly tree hitting every branch and then got a beating with the broken branches by chavs while lying on the ground...and while walking home from the falling and beating he also fell into a large container of lard and had to eat his way out.
