This is another dvd screener, with the counter blurred out. not a workprint, but a dvd screener.

Nice blur job on the timer. No sync issues. This movie reminds me of the cartoon strip named "Drabble" (Am I the only one who noticed this?)

Nasty "Sony Pictures Entertainment" shit throughout. Blurred serial.

Very good comedy. And not a "cringe" comedy either - nice change. Pretty charming actually.

9/9/8

Pratt its a workprint that's why it has an editing timer.Try rating the release instead of making dumbass comments.

M:7 (Rated as DVDSCR)
A: 7 (Rated as DVDSCR)

Looks to me as if its a analogue rip from digital source, soft picture, less detail and standard stereo sound. All in all its a good watchable source but not as good as a digital DVDSCR rip.

FYI:

Its...NOT... a workprint!

It clearly states at the beginning of the movie in a big warning message to the viewer that its a SCREENER!

The timers are NOT only put on workprints they can be put on for many different reasons along the ladder, Like on TCR's for example where in the studio a analogue rip is done with a TCR machine which automatically adds a timer and sometimes date and serial watermark to the analogue copy.

The timer hold no baring on whether it is a workprint copy or not.

Tcr's mostly have TCR next to the timer.

Its a SCREENER!

Its displayed in in ENGLISH and pure white letters at the beggining of the movie so you can UNDERSTAND!!

Have you even watched the movie or have you simply seen a screen and timer and think you know what you are talking about??

It doesnt have to have "TCR" written on it, All machines/models will give different watermarks depending also on the studio.

you are CLEARY WRONG!

At least admit when you are wrong when the evidence is CLEAR!!

At least READ THE WARNING MESSAGE AT BEGINNING OF MOVIE.

ITS STUDIO ANALOGUE RIP OF A DVDSCR!!!

From the beginning of the movie:

"...screening copies of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) are sent to you strictly for viewing purposes".

Now, I can understand how their vague and ambiguous use of the words "screening", "sent to you" and "viewing purposes" might throw you off, but to the rest of us dummies it seems pretty damn clear that this is a screener.

Of course, you might have missed the obvious if all you did was watch the sample before shooting your mouth off.

The debate about workprint vs screener is over now. Rate the video/audio, be friendly and move along otherwise we'll be closing the thread.

Hugs and kisses.
