somewhere on the net is a good interview with cast members and some extended audio. while he did completely explode, it puts it in a better perspective, especially after listening to fellow cast members. director is a massive tool, walks between camera and cast multiple times. everyone else wanted to do the same thing, etc etc. doesnt excuse him from doing it but def sheds a little light on it.

you could make a long list of actors who are actually douche-bags, especially "behind the scenes"

hey weve all snapped once or twice, i say good on the batman.
by all accounts the twat at the receiving end was, umm, well being a twat on the shoot all day long.

i just hope it makes it as an extra on the bluray

I know he's an overly important twat on the recording, he goes way too far...

But, on the flipside, if he's been building up to whatever scene for however long and he's focused on Maggie, delivering some heartwrenching line or other...and then someone walks in his eyeline behind Maggie and distracts his attention...I have some sympathy, though he clearly goes completely OTT.
