It was so nice of CAMERA to add the first few minutes of the intro to this TS version...now I can compare the CAM to TS and boy is the TS better (visually).
Unfortunately the TS has a really annoying white noise sound pretty much throughout CD1. Skimming CD1, seems to be there more than not. Skimming CD2, seems to be gone.

So, for this TS:
v: 7 (over cropped, obvious clue 1hr in CD1, but not unwatchable)
a: 4 (CD1s white noise sound, also some minor sync issues)
m: *shrug* haven't watched it yet

This version 6/7/8 rated as CAM.
Theres a better version by Devise floating around, watched the whole of it last night.
They use CAMERAS source for first 5 mins (join is at 5:04, some sync issues before the join) then the russian source with CAMERAs audio for the rest of the movie.
Compared to this rls it's like 8/7/8 (rated as CAM).

I'm not one of these guys who will only watch R5 and above (dvdrip, screener etc.) I'll watch TS and CAM as long as they are not piss poor. This rls is inferior to the Watchmen.READNFO.TS.XviD-DEViSE, but still watchable.

Have you looked at them side by side? I'm not video-phile but they look like the same source. The only difference is DEViSE's doesn't have that overbearing white-noise sound throughout the first hour.

V: 7 for a cam the quality is good. would have been higher but the cropping at the top and left are a little distracting

A: 6 Good but has a high hiss. slight sync problem that's not too distracting and hiss can be filtered somewhat with an eq.

M: 8 I really liked it. They kept the meat of the story intact and Jackie Earle Haley as Rorshach was as good as Ledger's Joker imo.Well worth the ticket price to see in a theatre.

Txt from devise release:

We've used the far superior russian source.
There were some missing scenes in it, so we used scenes
from CAMERA's release (for a few minutes at the beginning).
We used also CAMERA's audio,
synced it and filtered it.
Like our New In Town release the only available audio isn't that good,
so there is again ~ 2 minute interval in which we left the german dub.
The interval is 01:59:34 - 02:01:59.
We include subs for this 2 mins. Enjoy

Won't restate what has already been said. Took the audio from this and synced it with the even better french/german video (yes missing a bit but better). Won't comment on the Devise as that isn't this thread.

Rating as is, watchable, sound is weak seems to low at times.

Getting the R5 XViD COALiTiON now audio is taken from the workprint and picture looks sharper and less cropped.

Given the patching of various sources on this, it is watchable. Can't understand why the movie is over 2 1/2 hours though. It's not all that great.

Copy is worthless still missing most of the beginning. I'll wait for a complete r5 or dvdscr.

Camera angle is bad and its poorly cropped out of sync is spots but back on track in seconds. First almost 6 mins are not good as placed in info. Rest of the movie even with russian/german whatever video is still bad compared to other overseas video releases.

V - 3 - first 5 mins.
V - 6 - rest of film
A - 4 - audio is good and bad
M - 4 - movie sucked and was quite boring and way over hyped!
