Ps2.
My eject button will not light up, nor will it work. Doing a really quick Google search didn't really turn up anything. Have any of you ever had this problem, and if so, how was it resolved? Thanks in advance.

Take it apart check the wire soldering on the on off switch, It cured it when my son's had the same problem.

It really could be the motor (on two different drives). Sigh.

It might be the ribbon from the power/eject to the motherboard, you can get a replacement ribbon for ~£5
