-- Hard disk boot sequence (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=85577)
Hard disk boot sequence
Ok, here's the problem:
I have tho different windows installations into two different (physical) hard disks, that is not two different partitions in the same hard disk.
The problem is that I want to choose the windows installation without having to get into the BIOS and start changing the hard disk sequence.
Are you familiar with any program that will enable me to choose which windows installation to boot with?
Thanks in advance.

thank you very much !!! I will give it a try!!!
You can also let it boot up into the default windows (the one it atuomatically chooses) and edit the C:\boot.ini, adding a second entry for the other windows version. With 2 entries it will ask you which version to boot.
This is typically done automatically I think but TBH I havent used windows in a very long time (aside from in a VM) so Im a bit out of touch with vista/xp interactions.

pfft linux nerd.
you've clearly gone to the dark side Anakin
Arch + Openbox is the best thing since oral sex.
... and yes super grub disk does very easily the trick.
You don't actually have to update the mbr, if you boot with the disc you have the option to start windows from the second hard disk ...
Will try to work with boot.ini later ....
Thanks a lot guys ....
