Project Natal

Wow, how good does that look??

Add on for xbox 360, camera with movement, voice, and facial recognition.

Just seen it now on the live xbox press conference.

Details.

I was just going to make an E3 thread and post this. Looks pretty cool. That Milo thing is super creepy. So far E3 is good, watch G4!

Yeah I agree with Milo, could be fun though if it lets you take the piss out of him and stuff.

That does sound pretty fucking cool , cool it all be coming from a hype machine though ? Generally whenever a company comes up with something new it's going to "revolution gaming" hopefully i'm full of shit though and this actually turns out to be fucking awesome.

Microsoft's adding Twitter and Facebook to the 360, so users of those social networking services can check and post messages from the console.

I keep reading about this motion sensing thing and I'm not sure it's workable... The Wii can be cumbersome enough at times without people actually "becoming" the controller. Flailing around like some fuck with a nervous disorder. I read how they've adapted this system to work with Burnout as a demo and it sounds awful - although I do like the idea of using head tracking to pan the screen in FPS's etc.

Project Natal looks great.
Call of Duty didn't do much for me to be honest.
The bit at the end reminded of an old bond game. Can't remember which but kind of been done before.
The full game will still be great though no doubt just thought the demonstration was a bit dull.

I really liked modern warfare and while I also enjoyed world at war I just always felt like it never added much (plus I'm sick of anything based in WW2 in general, I'm looking at you History channel). Liked what I saw from the new modern warfare, it's important they keep up the pace like from the original in the single player campaign, it was just done very well.

My prediction is that Project Natal is going to be a total bomb, lazy fucks like videogames a lot more then active social people do, replacing random button mashing with random stick waggling is one thing but once you get full body in 3 dimensional space I see nothing but failure.
